Instruction to Title Companies – Resale Certificates
The Settlers Bay Owners Association, Inc. is comprised of only the lots within Settlers Bay Subdivision Unit No. 1 and Unit No. 2.
The association, within 10 days after a written request, shall furnish a Resale Certificate containing the necessary information, in Accordance with The Alaska Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act, AS 34.08. There is no additional fee for the Resale Certificates.
The Association will try to accommodate “Rush” requests with an additional fee of $100, making the transfer fee $350. The Association will not be held liable for missed deadlines on “Rush” requests.
Step 1: Payoff Requests
Title Companies must direct any requests for payoff information to the Association Accountant.

Step 2: Request Resale Certificates
You can request a resale certificate online. Prepayment is required.
